Heat a large saute pan to high heat, and season steaks with steak seasoning.
Add oil to pan and place steaks in. Do not move steaks to ensure a nice even sear.
When crust has formed on steaks flip and sear again.
When steak is cooked to desired doneness turn off heat and add in butter, fresh thyme, and garlic.
Baste steaks with butter for 2 minutes and set aside.
Place the lettuce from the Fresh Express® Smokehouse Chopped Salad Kit®, along with the croutons, cheese and salad dressing into a large bowl; toss to combine.
Serve filet mignon with Smokehouse Chopped Salad on the side.
