Miso Salmon Asian Apple Salad

Freshly cooked salmon infused with the rich, umami flavors of miso, served with our NEW Asian Apple Salad Kit is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.  Start with fresh green leaf lettuces, carrots, radicchio, crispy wonton strips, flavorful chili verde cashews, sweet, diced apples and a light and delicious Asian Apple Vinaigrette dressing. Oh, so yummy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (9.1-ounce) package Fresh Express® Asian Apple Salad Kit®
  • 2 8-ounce pieces of salmon 
  • 1/2 cup red miso paste 
  • 1/4 cup oil 
  • 1 tablespoon chili based hot sauce 
  • 2 cloves garlic minced 
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar 

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl mix together miso, oil, hot sauce, garlic, vinegar, and grated ginger. 
  • Place salmon in bowl with marinade and let rest for 15 minutes. 
  • Place salmon on a sheet tray. 
  • Set broiler to low setting, and place salmon in oven for 10 minutes or until internal temperature is 145°
  • In a bowl, add salad with dressing and toppings; toss to combine.
  • Plate salad, serve salmon on top and enjoy.
