Brick Chicken with Pear Gorgonzola Salad Kit
Deliciously crispy brick chicken paired with the perfect balance of sweet pears and tangy Gorgonzola will make you feel like a gourmet chef!

- 1 (6.7-ounce) package Fresh Express® Pear Gorgonzola Salad Kit
- 1 half chicken with bones removed
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 cup neutral oil
Mix together wet ingredients and oil in a bowl. Whisk in spices and add chicken. Allow chicken to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400° and heat a sauté pan to medium high heat.
When pan is hot add in chicken skin side down and place a pan or weight on top.
When a crust has formed on chicken, remove weight and turn the chicken over. Place in oven and allow to cook until internal temperature of 165°
In a bowl add in lettuce and toss with dressing and toppings.
Serve chicken on a bed of salad and enjoy!
