Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package Fresh Express® Spinach
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup grated carrots
Instructions
- Combine cream, cheese, butter, nutmeg, salt and pepper in a medium saucepan.
- Cook and stir over medium heat, just until it starts bubbling; reduce heat to low.
- Cook the Fresh Express® Spinach and carrots, in batches, in olive oil in a large skillet over high heat for two to three minutes or until wilted.
- Add spinach and carrots to cream mixture; mix well. Serve warm.
