Hot Maple Glazed Pork Chops
The smoky, sweet flavor of these succulent pork chops paired with a side of Fresh Express® Smokehouse Chopped Salad Kit® will have everyone asking for seconds!
Ingredients
- 2 (10.4-ounce) packages Fresh Express® Smokehouse Chopped Kits®
- 4 boneless center-cut pork chops, cut 1 inch thick
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper. Cook pork chops in oil in an oven proof skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
- Transfer skillet to oven; bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F to 160°F in the thickest part of the meat.
- Meanwhile, combine the maple syrup, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, and pepper in a small saucepan; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Keep warm.
- Place the greens from the Fresh Express® Smokehouse Chopped Kits® into a large bowl; toss with the salad dressings. Add the toppings; toss to combine.
- Divide the salad evenly among four plates. Serve with a pork chop glazed with the maple sauce.
