Marinated Teriyaki Steak with Teriyaki Noodle Salad

Ingredients
- 1 bag (16.9-ounce) Fresh Express® Hot or Cold Teriyaki Salad and Noodle Meal Kit®
- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon siracha sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted chicken stock
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add all the ingredients and bring to a simmer while whisking. Simmer for 4 minutes.
- Allow the mixture to cool down until it's cool to the touch (about 20 minutes).
- Slice the steak into thin strips and place it in a bowl.
- Pour the cooled marinade over the steak and let it marinate for 1 hour.
- In a large pan over medium-high heat, stir-fry the steak for 2 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the pan and allow it to rest.
- In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the Fresh Express® Hot or Cold Teriyaki Salad and Noodle Meal Kit® according to the package instructions as a hot meal.
- Add the steak back to the pan and stir to incorporate.
- Garnish with the provided toppings and serve.
