Pomegranate & Pear Salad
Seasonal pomegranate seeds, pears and walnuts add wonderful flavors to one of our favorite salads.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Fresh Express® Hearts of Romaine
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 pomegranates seeded
- 1 red pear cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds unsalted
- 1 cup blue cheese crumbled
- 1 cup walnuts
Instructions
- Place lettuce in a serving dish and spread the other ingredients evenly over the lettuces.
- Drizzle dressing over the salad and serve.
- Add slices of baked chicken or pork or sautéed tofu or beans to make it a healthy dinner salad.
